The Cyclone is a classic pinball machine from 1988, with the special theme of the amusement park - which makes it especially interesting for children and families. The park, depicted on the playground and backglass, is one of the most famous amusement parks of all time: Coney Island! Until the Second World War, Coney Island was the largest contiguous amusement park in the world with the added feature that admission was free for all. The park was created long before Disneyland, which was eventually to replace Coney Island as the largest amusement park.
The Cyclone, like Coney Island, features many special features. These include underground ball runs, many ramps, the Boomerang, the haunted house, the comet and a moving Ferris wheel on the left side of the field. Here, a young couple is driving and the player has to get them to kiss with skillful shots. The Mystery Wheel is especially special. With a little luck, the player can earn fat points, extra balls or specials!
