With the Big Chief Flipper from 1965, the pinball machine manufacturer Williams achieved a breakthrough on the German pinball market. Even then, pinball machines that could be played with up to four people were very popular in Germany. The Big Chief Flipper has a classic and timeless playing field with three pop bumpers, two slingshots, four standup targets, a middle right ball return gate and a right outlane ball return gate. The pinball machine was designed by Jerry K. Kelley. The special thing about the Big Chief pinball machine is that it was one of the first pinball machines to have an illuminated coin slot. Also special is the headboard of the pinball machine. Here the whole front frame can be unfolded.
