The voice of Fred Feuerstein sounds loud, you start the game at the Flintstone Flipper (1994) from Williams. The player accompanies Fred, Wilma, Barny and Bamm Bamm on their adventures!
Williams designed the Flintstones with great attention to detail and based the machine on the film of the same name - which was also released in 1994. For those of you not so familiar with the Flintstones: "The Flintstones" is one of the oldest and most popular US cartoon comedies since the 60s! It is about a modern Stone Age family - around the head of the family Fred Flintstone - and their adventures.
The pinball machine contains the original voices of the movie and the famous song "Meet the Flintstones" accompanies the player during the game - as well as the original movie quotes, making it the ideal pinball machine for players of all ages and especially for families! Countless funny animations are shown on the dot matrix display during the game, such as the "Brontosaurus Race" and the "Bedrock Derby".
The playing surface features many special features and highlights. One of these is the automatic switching of the ball control as soon as the player hits the ramp. The ball runs on a rail over the pinball fingers, comes back and lands as a perfect template in front of the pinball fingers and thus allows the player to land great follow-up hits. We continue with the built-in bowling alley, the "Bowl O Rama", where the accuracy of the player requires to achieve a strike! The dot matrix display always shows which hits the player has landed - which makes the Flipper especially attractive for new pinball players!
To discover the Flintstone completely takes some time and so it doesn't get boring even after long playing. The player can explore a total of 5 different game modes, all of which in turn trigger their own game variations. Discover "Joe's Dinner", "Dino's Frenzy", "Fred's Choice", "Bedroom Water Buffalos" and the "brilliant finale".
Beside the huge dinosaur head including neck - the "Bronto-Crane", the multiball is a special highlight in Flintstones. In the "Rock Slicer" - in the upper left corner of the field - the balls are first collected, swirled around, and then thrown out to the multiball when the corresponding targets are hit!
