With the Star Wars Flipper in 1992, Data East managed to produce the brilliant film by screenwriter Georg Lucas in a fantastic way. The story of Luke Skywalker, his friends, Darth Vader and the Death Star is perfectly transferred to the device through a first-class design. A real eye-catcher are the rotating death star and the mobile robot R2-D2. The device has a start lever with which the player can aim at different targets in the dot matrix display. With the lever you can also activate a fire button during the game and destroy enemies.
Luke Skywalker makes his way to another planet in search of allies to free Princess Leia from the clutches of Darth Vader. He meets the robots R2-D2 and C-3PO, which are in possession of the plans for the Death Star. These come from the ruling emperor and his servant Darth Vader. The Death Star is a terrible weapon and could destroy the world within seconds.
