Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is the 2nd Cornerstone title of Star Pinball in 2020!
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT), also known in Europe as Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles, is a US-American animated series that has been released since 1984. The comic is about the four mutant (humanoid) turtles (English: Turtles), which are Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo, who live in the New York sewers. Each of the four main characters has a specific trait and you can choose a character at the beginning of the game.
The four Turtles are taught the Asian martial art Ninjutsu by the master Splinter, who has mutated into a humanoid rat. The arch enemy of the Ninja Turtles is the evil sick man who must be defeated in this pinball adventure.
The pinball machine comes with a very colorful playing field, nice shots, metal ramps, lots of video animations and a very nice playing field layout designed by John Borg (Metallica, X-Men, Kiss, Tron and many more titles).
As always the pinball machine comes in 3 versions, Pro, Premium and Limited Edition (LE). All 3 versions have 3 pinball fingers and a rotating (in one direction on the Pro, in both directions on the Premium and LE) pizza disc with a magnet on which the balls collect. 2 different multiballs (Pro version up to 6 balls, Premium and LE up to 8 balls), training modes and other extras.
If you want to play with more than one player and additionally hold the right pinball button when starting, the progress, characteristics and points are shared among all players.
In the Premium and LE version you have a glider in the middle of the ramp, with which you can deflect the ball by pressing a button, so that it comes back on the left or right ramp on the pinball fingers.
The LE is produced by Stern Pinball in a total quantity of 500 pieces and differs optically and from the sound system once again from the Premium.
The pinball machine is available in the Pro Version from July, the LE Version from August and Premium Version from September, with a pre-order.
