When "Terminator III - Rise of the Machines" was launched in 2003, it had big shoes to fill! The Terminator II (T2) from 1991 is one of the most successful and popular pinball machines of all time, which has captivated fans all over the world for many years. In 2003, pinball fans could breathe a sigh of relief.

The Terminator III (T3) also promises pure gaming fun! The playing surface is reminiscent of its predecessor - the reason: the same designer who created the ingenious T2 in 1991 was at work again on the T3: Steve Ritchie. With many Feauteres the T3 has put a shovel on it again. Thus he has - like his predecessor - the original voice of Arnold Schwarzenegger at his disposal. However, the pinball machine includes an incredible 450 different voice prompts and also instructs the player what to do to complete the mission and - as in Terminator II - defeat the machines and save humanity.

All ramps in the T3 are made of stainless steel, which means not only a fantastic appearance but also a long durability of the device. As with the T2, the player fires the ball into the game with a pistol. However, the machines fire back - a T-X plasma cannon shoots the balls in the direction of the player - who must fend off the balls to defeat the machines - as in the film. A further and very special highlight is the "Red Light Mode". If you hit a certain target in the middle of the playing field, the entire playing surface is bathed in red light and not only draws the player into its spell, but also brings him directly into the action!

Our tip: If you choose a pinball machine with a film theme, you won't regret it. You should definitely watch the corresponding movie first and will be thrilled how many movie elements can be found in the pinball machine!
